“GARDEN MUSIC PROJECT”

This is the debut album by the Garden Music Project featuring music inspired by the paintings on PINK FLOYD founder SYD BARRETT.

The release is timed to coincide with the eighth anniversary of Syd Barrett’s passing in 2006.

The music on this release can be best described as an epic interpretation of Syd Barrett’s paintings using Synesthesia perceptions. A music venture created and pioneered by Adriana Rubio. A unique masterpiece of 12 tracks that truly reflect the early artistic concept of Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett and his music legacy in modern times.

Syd Barrett was very sensitive of Synesthesia color-sound shifts onstage and in studio sessions. The use of chromatic sound-colors is what Syd Barrett loved most.

All this together is also seen and appreciated in his paintings. So, the music this album offers follows that pattern.

"ALEX DITZEND"

GUITARS & LEAD SINGING

Alex Ditzend is an amateur musician who grew up surrounded by a family of musicians. He started playing guitar at the age of seven. Alex also plays piano and keyboards. He is a passionate singer and lyricist. And while  his voice has been compared to Radiohead’s lead singer Thom Yorke, the singing style on his solo project "Gautama" prior to "Garden" reaches the sweetness level of John Lennon. Aside from the music scene, Alex studies Industrial Engineering and is just about to receive his diploma.  

 

"FABRIZIO GAMBA"

KEYBOARDS

Fabrizio Gamba is a professional musician. He has major studies in piano and keyboards playing. He also plays saxophone. Fabrizio plays keyboards for the band “Exodo Babylon”, has also played and performed for Jazz bands and has released 2 full length records and 1 EP prior to "Garden". He works professionally as an Image & Sound Designer. Aside from the music scene, Fabrizio attends the Filmmaking University and is an advanced student to become a Filmmaker.

"NICO SAGANÍAS"

DRUMS & PERCUSSION

Nico Saganías is a drummer & percussionist and also plays guitar. He released 2 full length records and 1 EP prior to "Garden". Nico plays drums for two local bands in Buenos Aires named “Exodo Babylon” and “Estival”. He works professionally as Music Producer. Aside from the music scene, Nico has major studies in Visual Arts Designing.

"STEFAN DITZEND"

BASS GUITAR & SAXOPHONE

Stefan Ditzend is an amateur musician who grew up surrounded by a family of musicians. Stefan plays saxophone and bass guitar. He is also a percussionist and has played for a local band in Buenos Aires named “Exodo Babylon”. Stefan performs occasionally for private events, but at this time he is entirely focused on "Garden". Aside from the music scene, Stefan is an International Chef.
